LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy uses clinically proven wavelengths of light to trigger specific biological responses in the skin. Originally developed by NASA for wound healing in space, LED therapy is now a staple of professional skincare — painless, relaxing, and backed by substantial research.

Red Light (630-660nm): Repair and Collagen

Red light penetrates into the dermis where it stimulates fibroblasts — the cells that produce collagen and elastin. This improves skin firmness, reduces fine lines, and accelerates healing. It is ideal for anti-aging, post-treatment recovery, and general skin rejuvenation.

Blue Light (415nm): Acne Control

Blue light targets the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes, the primary culprit in inflammatory acne. The light triggers a photochemical reaction that destroys the bacteria without damaging surrounding tissue. It is an effective, drug-free approach to acne management.

Near-Infrared (830nm): Deep Healing

Near-infrared light penetrates deepest, reaching subcutaneous tissue. It reduces inflammation, accelerates tissue repair, and relieves joint and muscle pain. Combined with red light, it provides comprehensive cellular rejuvenation.

How We Use LED

LED therapy is often added to facials, microneedling, and chemical peels to enhance results and reduce recovery time. A standalone session takes 20 minutes — you simply relax under the light panel. There is zero discomfort and zero downtime.

Add LED therapy to any facial for enhanced results at our Anna, TX med spa. Standalone sessions are also available.
